I definitely support using the internet for research. However, in high school english classes, the internet is rarely used for research, except when writing a research paper, students can use library websites to browse critical essays for support.
I'll definitely use internet resources because when starting a book or poem, I like to know a little bit about the author him/herself. I feel it helps the students understand why the writing is written the way it is. I also could use the internet for lessonplan and project ideas.
As a teacher, teaching high schoolers doesn't concern me that much. They're well imformed about the internet and probably know more about it than i do. However, i am concern because not all websites are credible and you never know where they'll be getting their information.
